Each ceramic is unique and entirely handmade in my studio in Montreal.
The image is the result of a delicate manual printing process called lithography on clay. Porcelain clay is shaped, printed, fired, then glazed before final firing. The image obtained is unalterable, protected by a layer of glass forever. This work of art will last more than a lifetime with the proper care.
In the event that a second print is made from the same image, this is specified. Moreover, these are quite recognizable around the edges of the ceramic, the inking and the various marks and nuances generated during the printing and enamelling process.
