Description

Each ceramic is unique and entirely handmade in my studio in Montreal.

The image is the result of a delicate manual printing process called lithography on clay. Porcelain clay is shaped, printed, fired, then glazed before final firing. The image obtained is unalterable, protected by a layer of glass forever. This work of art will last more than a lifetime with the proper care.

In the event that a second print is made from the same image, this is specified. Moreover, these are quite recognizable around the edges of the ceramic, the inking and the various marks and nuances generated during the printing and enameling process.

Chaque céramique est unique et entièrement réalisée à la main dans mon atelier à Montréal. L’image est le résultat d’un processus d’impression délicat et manuel appelé lithographie. L’argile porcelaine est façonnée, imprimée, cuite, puis émaillée avant la cuisson finale. L’image obtenue est inaltérable, protégée d’une couche de verre pour toujours. Cette œuvre d’art durera plus d’une vie avec le soin adapté.

Dans le cas où une plusieurs impression sont réalisées à partir d’une même image, cela est spécifié. De plus, chaque pièce est tout à fait reconnaissables au pourtour de la céramique, à l’encrage et aux diverses marques et nuances générées durant le processus d’impression et d’émaillage.
