Each ceramic is unique and entirely handmade in my studio in Montreal.
The image is the result of a delicate manual printing process called lithography on clay. Porcelain clay is shaped, printed, fired, then glazed before final firing. The image obtained is unalterable, protected by a layer of glass forever. This work of art will last more than a lifetime with the proper care.
In the event that a second print is made from the same image, this is specified. Moreover, each piece is quite recognizable : the edges of the ceramic are never the same, as the inking and the various marks and nuances generated during the printing and enameling process.
